I am so in love with this LITTLEST print from Art Gallery Fabrics. It is just perfect for a baby dress, and of course I just had to have it. The fact that there are little bunnies all over it helps too. I also love the colors. Apricots, Mint Green, and little bits of grey and raspberry tones. PERFECT.
I decided to try a new pattern for this dress. It is the Grace Dress from Boo Designs. Let me warn you now, not the easiest pattern to master, but after the second try I whipped this dress out in under 3 hours. Of course, I had to make some changes. I was not so fond of the big overlap because I thought the dress needed a little something in the middle, and adding bias tape to the overlap proved to be too difficult. I added a bias trim and a small bow. I used the Party version of the pattern, since I like the skirts to be nice and full. I finished last night at around midnight, so I did not have any more strength to make the Ruffle bum pants to match, and today I am working on more orders, and I need time to spend with the family, so I doubt I will be able to get to those until next weekend.
I think I have a pretty good selection of Easter dresses now, and I hope everyone is enjoying all the dresses. I am busy with orders all the way through April 5th. I will try to post pictures as I go along. There won’t be many new items available until then, but you know me…….I just cannot help myself. LOL. Here are a few pictures I took during the week.
